Carlow PPN Plenary - Community Expo & Networking Event

Carlow PPN held our first Community Expo and Networking Plenary event of 2022 on Wednesday April 27th in the Woodford Dolmen Hotel in Carlow.

Topics discussed related to the heritage, history and vernacular architecture of County Carlow. Following on from the recently published strategy 'A Living Tradition': a strategy to enhance the understanding, care and handing on of our built vernacular heritage. The presentations reflected themes from the strategy relating to County Carlow. We are very grateful to our speakers, Barry O’ Reilly, Architectural Conservation Officer at the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage , Eoin Sullivan, Heritage Officer Carlow County Council, Dermott Mulligan, Curator Carlow County Museum, and Padraig Dooley, Carlow Historical and Archaeological Society.

Thank you to those who hosted a stand and to all who attended the event.
